All of the Chemistry courses taught in High School present definite challenges to students, both in the concepts and in the mathematics involved. We are familiar with all of these, and focus our instruction accordingly. 

Here are the steps we take for your success:

If your child had to summit Everest, would you send them alone or with a well-led team taking the same route? The team builds energy, accountability, and coached practice. 

1) Initial 10-15 minute call to meet and to assess current knowledge level of material, challenges, and goals.

2) Outline how we demonstrate the material, with examples, tips and must-know points. Group setting (up to 5) provides momentum, accountability, and desired outcome. 

3) Homework review, and ongoing assessment of material already covered to reinforce and cement learning.

4) Special focus on assignments, tests, and exams, with worked examples.

5) Particular attention on topics causing confusion, struggle, or concern.

6) Students thrive on peer energy, repetition, and coached practice. Mutual support, affirmation, and “we’re all in this together” feeling provide confidence and trust in mutual success.
