Learn At Home
Many students are more comfortable and learn better in their home environment. No time lost or wasted in traffic or fitting into someone else’s schedule.
Homework
Homework gets a bad rap. Often it is viewed as something given out by lazy teachers. We understand that homework can polish a skill and reinforce a concept. We use it effectively.
In-Person Sessions
Some students benefit from one-on-one in-person tutoring. This is not the “old fashioned” way; it is a proven method that has been around forever. We recognize this and are able to provide 90 minute In-Person tutoring within the GTA.
Strong Community
Our students are encouraged to share their thoughts and experiences with each other. Every student lives their own unique experience, yet they all share certain things in common which can build trust and provide important support.
Expert Tutors
Over 20 years of experience, expertise and success in tutoring Grades 10 and 11 Chemistry and AP Chemistry to high schoolers. We know the material expertly, but we also know how to teach it so that our students become experts too.
Online Tutoring
Since COVID, we have all accepted both the negatives and positives of online learning. We know how to engage students quickly online and get them learning immediately. In fact, our methods encourage the sharing of knowledge and mutual support.
Our Focus
SCH3U, SCH4U, 03101, 03102, 03103 and AP 014 are all courses that teach the important concepts of high school Chemistry, but with differing levels of depth and mathematical rigour. We understand these variations, and can easily provide the learning specifically required for your child.
